Homeroom Teacher (Y2) for our esteemed institution, Westview International Language School. We seek an innovative and passionate educator dedicated to creating a supportive and vibrant learning environment for our Year 2 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the Year 2 curriculum
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualized support and feedback to enhance learning outcomes
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom culture that promotes positive social interactions and collaboration amongst students
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an integrated and enriching educational program
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and encouraging their involvement in the educational process
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continue enhancing instructional practices and pedagogical skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience in a primary educational setting, specifically in Year 2
- Strong understanding of the child development process and effective teaching strategies for this age group
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Passion for engaging students and fostering their love for learning
- Ability to utilize technology effectively to enhance student learning experiences
