A Senior Hookup Engineer is to lead offshore hookup engineering, planning, mobilization, execution, and close-out activities for major oil and gas projects. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality delivery of E&I hookup scopes from preparation through offshore execution and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop hookup execution strategies for bids and live offshore projects.
- Prepare and manage hookup schedules and execution plans.
- Lead engineering and preparatory activities for assigned campaigns.
- Support discipline lead engineers during onshore and offshore execution.
- Resolve construction, engineering, and technical issues.
- Coordinate manpower, vessels, equipment, materials, and subcontractor requirements.
- Monitor offshore progress and ensure readiness for mobilization.
- Approve offshore crew timesheets and manage workforce deployment.
- Prepare method statements, procedures, close-out reports, and lessons learned documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of offshore oil and gas experience in E &I Hookup activities.
- Strong offshore hookup and yard execution experience.
- Experience leading Hookup or Workpack Engineers and multicultural teams.
- Saudi Aramco LTA project experience with a main contractor is highly preferred.
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
