The HORECA Supply Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing relationships with suppliers and vendors who provide products/goods to the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés/Catering) sector, ensuring reliable supply, competitive costs, and product availability to meet business and customer demand.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage and grow a portfolio of supplier/vendor accounts serving the HORECA sector
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly procurement/cost-saving targets
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and their sales/commercial representatives
- Identify new supply sources and onboard new suppliers/vendors to strengthen the supply base
- Conduct continuous market research to understand supplier capabilities, competitor sourcing strategies, and pricing/cost trends
- Analyze supply data, supplier performance, and market insights to develop sourcing and cost-optimization strategies
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, supply terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers
- Monitor stock levels, supplier lead times, and product availability to prevent shortages
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery from suppliers to warehouses/clients
- Prepare supply forecasts, supplier performance reports, and cost analysis reports
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards, contracts, and delivery SLAs
- Resolve supply-related issues (delays, shortages, quality issues) efficiently
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and manage supplier scorecards
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience as a Supply/Procurement/Vendor Account Manager or similar role
- Previous experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Vendor Management is required
- FMCG/HORECA supplier-side experience is highly preferred
- Strong experience in market research, supplier evaluation, and competitor/cost analysis
- Ability to analyze and interpret supply and cost data to drive sourcing decisions
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Target-oriented with a strong commercial and cost-management mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
