Prepare hospital-level demand inputs and local forecast assumptions for review and validation through the regional demand review and Integrated Planning process.
Provide hospital demand inputs, stock availability updates, consumption trends, and exception analysis to support Supply Planning in preparing and maintaining approved supply and replenishment plans.
Monitor forecast accuracy, forecast bias, abnormal demand, and demand variation, and recommend corrective actions
Monitor inventory levels, inventory turnover, and stock availability against approved safety stock and reorder point parameters and highlight exceptions for review by Group Integrated Planning.
Analyze hospital consumption and stock movement trends to identify potential slow-moving, obsolete, or near-expiry risks, and escalate to Supply & Inventory Planning, and Regional Supply Chain for action.
Coordinate hospital replenishment requirements with Supply Planning, Procurement, and Warehouse teams in line with approved replenishment plans and stock movement decisions
Monitor the impact of supplier lead times and supply delays on hospital stock availability in coordination with Supply Planning and Procurement and escalate potential supply disruptions to the Regional Supply Chain Manager.
Support demand review, supply-risk review, S&OP, and inventory review meetings by providing hospital demand inputs, consumption trends, stock availability risks, and exception reports.
Follow up daily hospital replenishment requirements and exceptions in line with approved Integrated Planning policies and coordinate with Warehouse / Logistics for execution.
Maintain hospital stock-out risk log covering critical items, expected shortage date, open PR / PO status, available alternatives, transfer options, and escalation status
Identify excess, shortage, near-expiry, or redistribution opportunities and initiate transfer / redistribution requests through Supply Planning and Regional Supply Chain governance.
Provide hospital-level input for new services, new consultants, new departments, new clinics, and operational changes affecting consumption and replenishment
Collaborate with clinical departments to understand consumption trends and future requirements.
Work closely with Regional Supply Chain, Supply & Inventory Planning, Procurement, Warehouse / Logistics, Finance, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Master Data, and Hospital Operations teams.
Maintain functional coordination with Group Planning / Integrated Planning to ensure consistency of forecasting methodology, templates, planning calendar, and KPI definitions.
Support uninterrupted availability of critical medical supplies and consumables by monitoring demand, stock availability, replenishment status, and supply risks
Support hospital service continuity through proactive demand planning, replenishment follow-up, supply-risk identification, and timely escalation.
Provide analysis and recommendations to support the balance between inventory investment, operational requirements, and service-level expectations
Monitor critical stock items, identify high-risk materials, recommend mitigation options, and escalate contingency requirements to the Regional Supply Chain Manager and relevant functions
Ensure planning activities, demand data, replenishment follow-up, and related documentation comply with hospital policies, Supply Chain procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Escalate abnormal consumption, urgent demand changes, supply risk, and stock-out risks according to approved escalation rules;
Identify planning risks, demand deviations, stock availability risks, and replenishment exceptions, and recommend corrective actions for review by the Regional Supply Chain Manager.
Validate demand data completeness and highlight item, UOM, consumption-history, or master-data issues to the authorized data owner.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree at any discipline.
2–5 years of experience in supply chain planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and procurement systems.
Supply Chain Planning and Inventory Management principles.
Demand Forecasting and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
