Job Purpose:
Hospitality Director will be responsible for leading the strategic expansion and operational excellence of M squared Hospitality. This executive role focuses on identifying and capitalizing on new business development opportunities, creating value-driven partnerships, and integrating hospitality growth initiatives with the overarching vision of M squared. A core function includes contributing to land sourcing and feasibility efforts that align with future hospitality developments and mixed-use projects.
Job Description:
Strategic Leadership & Business Development
- Develop and execute a growth strategy for the hospitality portfolio in alignment with the M squared vision and pipeline.
- Identify, evaluate, and lead new business development opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and brand alliances (hotels, resorts, F&B concepts, serviced apartments).
- Conduct market assessments to determine hospitality trends, customer needs, and brand positioning opportunities.
- Represent the company in negotiations and strategic partnerships with operators, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Lead the conceptualization and development of hospitality projects across potential new destinations.
- Drive innovation in hospitality offerings, service models, and experiences to ensure market differentiation.
- Manage relationships with hotel operators, architects, designers, and consultants during the development lifecycle.
- Set performance standards and KPIs for operational success across existing and future properties.
Land Acquisition Support
- Collaborate with the M squared CEO and Development team to scout and assess potential land plots that are suitable for M squared mixed-use projects.
- Provide feasibility input for land acquisitions and early-stage project concepts.
Financial Oversight & Performance Monitoring
- Oversee financial modeling, P&L performance, budgeting, and ROI analysis for hospitality assets.
- Prepare and present business cases, investment decks, and board-level recommendations.
- Monitor project execution, ensuring delivery within budget, timeline, and brand expectations.
Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Build and lead a high-performing hospitality team covering development, operations, marketing, and guest experience.
- Foster a culture of service excellence, innovation, and results.
- Mentor and develop internal talent, promoting leadership continuity and succession planning.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or any related field.
- MBA is a strong plus.
- 15+ years experience in hospitality sector.
- At least 5+ years in leadership roles and real estate background.
- Strong Communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong in Problem-solving skills.
