Duration: Approximately 11–12 months

Parafel Global is seeking an experienced Hospitality OS&E Procurement Specialist for a confidential ultra-luxury hospitality procurement consultancy project.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role reporting directly to the Project Lead. The successful candidate must be comfortable personally preparing schedules, specifications, RFQs, comparisons, trackers and supplier correspondence.

The assignment involves developing incomplete client OS&E information into a controlled, RFQ-ready procurement schedule and supporting the complete procurement consultancy process through sourcing, evaluation, samples, approvals, production monitoring and delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and develop the client's draft BOH OS&E schedule.
• Identify missing quantities, specifications, dimensions, finishes and operational requirements.
• Prepare clarification questions and close information gaps with the project, design and operations teams.
• Help develop practical quantity bases and technical specifications for client review and approval.
• Structure and maintain the schedule by area, room, category and item.
• Independently manage assigned OS&E categories with limited supervision.
• Identify and evaluate suitable UAE and international manufacturers and suppliers.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to qualified suppliers.
• Prepare technical evaluations and like-for-like commercial comparison sheets.
• Coordinate product samples, technical submittals, approvals and substitutions.
• Maintain procurement trackers, approval records, decision logs and supplier correspondence.
• Monitor production, inspections, consolidation, deliveries and programme risks.
• Provide clear recommendations and early warnings directly to the Project Lead.
• Maintain accurate and organised supporting documentation throughout the procurement lifecycle.

Required Experience

• Minimum 7 years of professional procurement experience.
• At least 4–5 years of direct hotel or hospitality OS&E procurement experience.
• Proven experience personally developing and managing detailed hotel OS&E schedules.
• Experience working from incomplete project information and converting requirements into RFQ-ready procurement packages.
• Hands-on experience preparing RFQs, technical evaluations, commercial comparisons and procurement trackers.
• Broad BOH OS&E experience covering at least four of the following categories:
• Housekeeping equipment and supplies
• Laundry shelving, storage and operational equipment
• Cleaning machinery and commercial vacuums
• Trolleys and stainless-steel BOH equipment
• Engineering and maintenance supplies
• Pool and external-maintenance equipment
• Health, safety and security equipment
• General stores and operational supplies
• Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC hospitality suppliers.
• Experience with international sourcing, supplier qualification and commercial negotiations.
• Experience coordinating samples, technical approvals, production, inspections and deliveries.
• Advanced Excel, reporting and document-control capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Currently based in the UAE and available to work on-site in Dubai when required.
• Willingness to undertake occasional project-related travel.
• Able to commit to the assignment through project completion.

This position may not be suitable for candidates whose experience is primarily limited to:

• Routine hotel purchasing and replenishment
• Food and beverage or restaurant purchasing
• Kitchen procurement without broader BOH OS&E exposure
• General construction procurement without hospitality OS&E experience
• Issuing RFQs only after receiving a fully completed BOQ or specification package
• Purely managerial or advisory positions without hands-on execution

Only applicants with directly relevant, hands-on hospitality OS&E experience will be shortlisted.
