Develop hospital warehouse and distribution procedures, work instructions, checklists, and standards for approval by the Logistics Associate Director.
Standardize hospital warehouse practices across Group hospitals related to receiving, storage, FEFO, put-away, issuing, returns, quarantine, rejection areas, cold-chain storage, high-value storage, return areas, and documentation.
Monitor hospital warehouse execution consistently across sites through performance reviews, audits, and site visits.
Coordinate hospital-facing distribution schedules, delivery priorities, inter-site movement, and last-mile service performance.
Coordinate with Regional Supply Chain Managers and Hospital Supply Planners to ensure replenishment flow supports hospital operations in alignment with approved supply planning and stock movement decisions.
Monitor hospital warehouse productivity, stock movement, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment performance, cycle-count compliance, and documentation quality.
Support inter-hospital transfers, stock redistribution, and site-to-site movement coordination in alignment with Supply Planning decisions.
Identify operational bottlenecks in hospital warehouse and distribution flow and recommend improvement actions.
Support implementation of WMS, barcode, warehouse automation, and system improvements in hospital warehouse operations.
Lead warehouse process optimization and standardization projects across hospital sites.
Monitor hospital warehouse and distribution KPIs, including warehouse compliance, inventory accuracy, cycle-count & stock tacking process, compliance, FEFO compliance, issue accuracy, receiving accuracy, documentation completeness, stock movement timeliness, and last-mile delivery performance.
Prepare hospital warehouse and distribution performance reports for the Logistics Associate Director.
Escalate repeated hospital warehouse failures, last-mile service issues, safety concerns, or compliance gaps to the Logistics Associate Director.
Provide functional leadership, technical guidance, and coaching to Hospital Warehouse Supervisors.
Support onboarding, training, and capability development of Hospital Warehouse Supervisors and warehouse teams in coordination with SC Capability.
Conduct regular operational performance reviews with warehouse leadership across hospitals.
Collaborate with Hospital Supply Planners, Regional SC Managers, Central Warehouse & 3PL Operations Manager, Quality, HSE, Pharmacy, Nursing, Finance, and Hospital Operations.
Ensure hospital warehouse and distribution operations support uninterrupted availability of critical supplies at point of care.
Support rapid response to urgent hospital distribution and stock movement needs.
Ensure last-mile distribution service supports patient-care continuity, procedure readiness, and hospital operational needs.
Ensure hospital warehouse operations comply with Group policies, healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, HSE requirements, storage conditions, and approved warehouse standards.
Conduct hospital warehouse compliance assessments, operational audits, and follow-up reviews.
Monitor corrective and preventive action implementation across hospital warehouse operations.
Promote safe storage, safe material handling, FEFO compliance, housekeeping, cold-chain discipline, access control, pest control, and fire-safety readiness.
Requirements:-
Bachelor's degree at any discipline.
12 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations, distribution
3 years in a managerial role overseeing warehouse and distribution operations
Advanced Knowledge of Warehouse operations and inventory management.
Advanced knowledge of Distribution planning and inventory movement.
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
Lead warehouse operations across multiple hospital sites.
