Hostess

Role Description This full-time, on-site Host/Hostess role at Boho Social Qatar is based in Doha and focuses on delivering a welcoming, high-quality guest experience. The Host/Hostess greets guests upon arrival, manages reservations and walk-ins, and organizes seating to optimize table turnover and comfort. The role includes answering phone inquiries, maintaining an accurate waitlist, and coordinating closely with the serving and management teams to ensure smooth operations. The Host/Hostess also supports opening and closing procedures, maintains cleanliness and order in the reception and dining entry areas, and adheres to Boho Social's service standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and guest relations skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
• Effective communication skills in English; additional language proficiency (such as Arabic) is an advantage.
• Ability to manage reservations, seating charts, and guest flow in a busy restaurant environment.
• Solid organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and time management.
• Comfort with basic point-of-sale and reservation systems; general computer literacy.
• Previous experience in hospitality, fine dining, or high-volume restaurant settings preferred.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and move comfortably around the venue, including peak service hours.
• Team-oriented mindset, with willingness to support colleagues and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
