Hostess

Role Description The Host/Hostess role at COCO Dubai is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting guests warmly on arrival, managing the waiting list, organizing seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests throughout the venue. The role involves handling reservations, answering phone inquiries, and coordinating with the service team to prepare tables and support overall guest service. The Host/Hostess also provides information about menus and venue features, addresses guest requests, and maintains a professional, welcoming presence at the entrance and reception area.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor when engaging with guests and team members.
• Candidates should possess reservations management skills, including organizing bookings, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating seating plans.
• Candidates should possess clear communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Candidates should possess customer service capabilities, with a focus on delivering attentive, respectful, and solution-oriented support.
• Candidates should possess professional phone etiquette skills, including polite greeting, clear information delivery, and efficient handling of calls.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in hospitality or restaurant front-of-house roles, proficiency in English and Arabic is a must, a polished and professional appearance, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
