We are seeking a sophisticated and service-minded Japanese-speaking Hostess to join our team at Kohantei Restaurant, Dubai's premier destination for authentic Japanese fine dining.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating an exceptional dining experience that reflects the spirit of Japanese hospitality (omotenashi).
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and ensure a seamless seating experience.
Manage reservations and coordinate guest seating efficiently.
Communicate fluently in Japanese and English to assist both Japanese-speaking and international guests.
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and assist in providing a memorable dining experience.
Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Maintain a calm and professional demeanor under pressure.
Represent the elegance, precision, and warmth of the Kohantei brand at all times.
Requirements:
Fluency in Japanese and English is mandatory.
Previous experience in a fine dining or hospitality environment preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for Japanese culture, hospitality, and high-end customer service.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
