Role Description The Host/Hostess is a full-time, on-site role based in Marsa Matrouh, responsible for welcoming guests and creating a positive first impression in the hotel's dining and lobby areas. Day-to-day tasks include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and coordinating with the service team to ensure smooth guest flow. The role also involves answering phones, providing accurate information about hotel and restaurant offerings, and assisting guests with special requests. The Host/Hostess maintains a clean and organized reception or host stand, upholds service standards, and supports overall guest satisfaction through professional, courteous, and timely communication.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with diverse guests and team members.
Candidates should possess customer service skills, including the ability to handle inquiries, resolve minor issues, and anticipate guest needs.
Candidates should possess clear verbal communication skills and professional phone etiquette for in-person and telephone interactions.
Candidates should possess reservations management abilities, including organizing bookings, updating guest information, and coordinating seating plans.
Relevant experience in hospitality or front-of-house roles is beneficial, along with fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
Attention to detail, reliability in shift-based work, and the ability to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment are required.
