Job Description

Resort Director / Hotel Manager | Abu Dhabi, UAE

The Company

MRG is delighted to be supporting our client on a career-defining leadership opportunity with a highly respected, design-led luxury hospitality group in the United Arab Emirates.

This organisation is known for delivering experience-driven destinations, with a strong focus on service excellence, guest engagement, and operational precision, positioning itself firmly at the premium end of the market.

The Role

We are particularly interested in individuals who have progressed through a Front Office pathway.

Those who understand the guest journey instinctively, who are naturally present on the floor, and who lead through visibility, engagement, and attention to detail.

Your ability to anticipate guest needs, manage moments of truth, and elevate service delivery in real time will set you apart.

This is a high-impact position for an accomplished hotelier who is ready to step into a broader operational mandate, shaping the guest experience, influencing culture, and driving performance across a complex, high-profile resort.

Acting as a strategic partner to the General Manager, you will take full ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless delivery across all departments, elevating service standards, and embedding a culture of excellence at every touchpoint.

Going beyond pure operations, this role requires judgement, presence, and the ability to balance commercial performance with exceptional guest experience, leading from the front while developing a strong, aligned leadership team.

Responsibilites

  • Driving operational excellence across all departments within the resort
  • Elevating guest experience, quality standards, and service culture
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing leadership team
  • Partnering closely with the General Manager on strategy and performance
  • Ensuring brand standards, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives are delivered

Requirements

  • Arabic speaker (essential)
  • Current Middle East experience in a similar senior operational role
  • Proven track record within luxury hotels or resorts
  • Strong Front Office foundation with a highly guest-centric mindset
  • A visible, hands-on leadership style, comfortable operating at the heart of the guest experience
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Commercially astute with the ability to balance service excellence and performance

This is an opportunity to step into a significant position where you will genuinely shape the direction, culture, and success of the resort, within a business that is both ambitious in growth and uncompromising in its standards.
