Job Description

As the Hotel Openings & Integration Manager, you are responsible for leading the full lifecycle of hotel openings across the Earth Hotels brand, from pre-opening planning through operational stabilization and post-opening integration.

You will act as the central point of coordination between all departments, ensuring Design, Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Citizens & Culture are aligned and moving together. This role is the operational glue that ensures each property opens on time, on brand, on budget, and fully embedded into Earth's service culture and operating standards.

What on Earth Will You Do

  • Lead and manage the full pre-opening critical path across all departments.
  • Drive alignment between Design, Procurement, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Citizens & Culture.
  • Track milestones, readiness deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely execution.
  • Ensure clear ownership across workstreams and follow up to close gaps quickly.
  • Oversee operational handover from project teams into hotel teams, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Lead opening readiness planning, including timelines, checklists, commissioning schedules, and operational setup.
  • Coordinate key opening deliverables including systems readiness, supplier onboarding, pre-opening logistics, and department readiness.
  • Support the General Manager and leadership team with structured planning and on-ground coordination.
  • Ensure smooth stabilization during the first operational phase post-opening, including resolving early operational challenges.
  • Ensure new properties are integrated into Earth's operating model, brand standards, and service philosophy.
  • Drive the rollout of Earth SOPs, standards, and role clarity across all departments.
  • Ensure the Earth guest journey is translated into real operational processes and daily habits.
  • Support the development of role descriptions and department SOPs aligned with the Earth experience.
  • Align recruitment timelines, leadership onboarding, and safe manning structures with opening deadlines.
  • Support the development and delivery of Earth brand immersion and opening training programs.
  • Lead the orientation program build-out and onboarding flow with the General Manager and hotel team.
  • Ensure Citizens are equipped to deliver Earth's service style from day one.
  • Establish pre-opening service benchmarks and quality standards for each department.
  • Implement post-opening quality assurance processes to monitor performance and brand consistency.
  • Conduct structured reviews, identify operational gaps, and drive corrective action.
  • Support continuous improvement across new properties based on learnings and operational feedback.
  • Contribute to pre-opening budgets and cost planning in coordination with the Finance team.
  • Monitor cost discipline across opening phases and support the team in staying on budget.
  • Ensure departmental resources are aligned with opening timelines and operational priorities.
  • Track key spending items and flag risks early to avoid delays or budget overruns.
  • Support the integration of Earth's community-driven programming and impact initiatives at property level.
  • Coordinate with leadership to ensure alignment with Earth's environmental and philanthropic priorities.
  • Support the development of Citizen engagement, retention, and growth initiatives alongside Citizens & Culture leadership.
  • Ensure each opening reflects Earth's mission, identity, and local relevance.
  • Ensure all property safety, health, and service regulations are followed consistently.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in guest-facing and back-of-house areas.
