Job Description

A Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience through high cleaning standards and prompt service.


What will I be doing

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will support the housekeeping and laundry teams by completing daily cleaning tasks and responding to guest requests in a timely and professional manner. Specifically, you will perform the following duties:

  • Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, as identified d by the hotel brand standards
  • Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring high levels of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ensure all assigned rooms are completed, checked, and released on time for guest arrivals.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests (extra amenities, cleaning needs, laundry requests, etc.).
  • Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies safely.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or missing items to the supervisor.
  • Follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
  • Assist the Laundry team with sorting, counting, or delivering guest clothing when needed.
  • Handle Lost & Found items according to hotel procedures.
  • Support the team by ensuring corridors, pantries, and service areas remain clean and organized.
