About the Job

An opportunity has risen at Saadiyat Beach Club for a Housekeeping Attendant. The position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of all public areas of the beach club, including indoor facilities and outdoor beach areas. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction at all times.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobby, reception, restrooms, corridors, changing rooms, lockers, gyms, spa areas, restaurants, and offices.
• Ensure floors, walls, glass, furniture, and fixtures are clean and well maintained.
• Empty trash bins regularly and dispose of waste according to hygiene standards.
• Clean and maintain the beach area, including sunbeds, umbrellas, cabanas, tables, and walkways.
• Ensure beach towels return areas are tidy and organized.
• Remove litter, sea debris, and other waste from the beach throughout the day.
• Clean outdoor showers, foot wash areas, and beach restrooms.
• Report any damage to beach furniture or equipment.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, mirrors, showers, and lockers regularly.
• Refill amenities such as tissue, soap, sanitizer, and paper towels.
• Maintain a fresh and pleasant environment at all times.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and supervisor instructions.
• Coordinate with other departments such as maintenance and operations.
• Attend briefings and training sessions as required

The ideal candidate for this position will display the following attributes:

• Minimum Secondary School Certificate.
• Any certification from the hotel industry will be an advantage
• One (1) year housekeeping experience as an office assistant in a full-service hotel.
• Fair communication skill in English verbal, listening & written.
