JobPurpose:

HRBusinessAdvisorswillserveasadirectpointofcontactforemployeesoftheirappointeddepartments,ensuringeffectivecommunicationandcollaborationbetweendepartmentsandtheHRdepartment.TheprimaryresponsibilitywillbetounderstandthedynamicsofassigneddepartmentsandprovidesupportthroughoutvariousHRprocesses.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Trackandmonitorattendancerecords,ensuringaccurateandup-to-dateinformation.
• Monitorandmanageleaverequests,ensuringcompliancewithuniversitypoliciesandregulations.
• Leadterminationmeetingsandhandleresignationcasesinaprofessionalmannerthatfollowsuniversityrequirements.
• Activelyparticipateinrecruitingefforts,sourcingandattractingtoptalenttofulfilltherecruitmentneedsofassigneddepartments.
• CollaboratewiththeHRteamtoalignHRstrategieswithdepartmentalgoalsandcontributetotheoverallsuccessoftheuniversity.
• Taketheleadinonboardingandoffboardingprocesses,ensuringsmoothtransitionsfornewhiresanddepartingemployees.
• Establishandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithdepartmentalanddivisionalleaders,servingasaliaisonbetweenthemandtheHRdepartment.

RequiredSkillsandQualifications:

• StronggraspofHRpractices,employmentlaws,recruitment,onboarding,andemployeerelations.ProficientwithHRIS/ATS(e.g.,BambooHR)andMicrosoftOffice.
• Communication&Interpersonal:Excellentwritten/verbalskillswithabilitytohandlesensitiveconversationsprofessionally.Strongrelationship-buildingandproblem-solvingskills.
• Organizational&Adaptability:Skilledinmanagingmultiplepriorities,ensuringcompliance,andworkingeffectivelyinamulticulturalenvironment.

EducationandExperience:

• Bachelor'sdegreeinHR,BusinessAdministration,orrelatedfieldHRcertificationpreferred.
• Experience:3-5yearsinHR,ideallyinhighereducationorasimilarsetting.
