Job Title: HR Generalist Facility Management
Job Summary:
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the daily HR operations within the facility management environment, ensuring efficient HR processes across recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and compliance. The role focuses on maintaining a productive workforce, particularly for operational and site-based employees.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for technical, administrative, and site-based roles within facility management operations.
- Coordinate with department managers to understand manpower requirements.
- Conduct screening interviews and coordinate hiring processes.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation for new employees.
2. Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and HR-related issues.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in line with company policies.
- Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
3. HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files.
- Prepare HR documents such as contracts, offer letters, and employment certificates.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
4. Attendance & Payroll Coordination
- Monitor attendance, leave management, and overtime records.
- Coordinate with the finance/payroll team to ensure accurate salary processing.
5. Performance Management
- Support performance appraisal processes and track employee performance reviews.
- Assist managers in setting performance objectives and development plans.
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Maintain records of training activities and certifications.
7. Compliance & Policies
- Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and company regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 36 years of HR experience, preferably within Facility Management, Construction, or Service-based industries.
- Good knowledge of Egyptian labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience handling blue-collar workforce and site employees is preferred.
