About the Role
Responsible for building and leading the HR function across the Middle East & Africa region, supporting business expansion from 0 to 1 and through subsequent growth phases. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, driving talent acquisition, organizational development, and HR systems to enhance organizational effectiveness and productivity in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Responsibilities
- Organization & HR System: Build and continuously optimize the HR framework for MEA, ensuring effective localization of HQ policies and improving organizational efficiency.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment for key roles and establish local talent pipelines to support rapid business expansion.
- Performance & Incentives: Develop and implement performance management and incentive systems to drive results and business growth.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage employee relations and labor risks, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- HR Business Partnering: Partner closely with business leaders to support workforce planning, cost control, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above, with 8+ years of HR experience and 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Experience in overseas markets or managing multicultural teams; Middle East experience preferred.
- Background in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce is a plus.
- Familiar with UAE labor law and HR compliance practices.
- Fluent in English as a working language.
