HR Manager - School Experience

International Community Schools (ICS), a leading group of private schools in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced and highly professional HR Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will oversee HR operations, ensure compliance with UAE labor regulations and school policies, and support the organization in attracting, developing, and retaining qualified employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and staff development.
  
• Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures.
  
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and relevant educational regulations.
  
• Oversee employee records, contracts, leave, attendance and HR documentation.
  
• Support school leadership with workforce planning and HR-related decisions.
  
• Handle employee concerns and disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.
  
• Promote a positive, inclusive and high-performance workplace culture.
  
• Prepare HR reports and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee data.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  
• Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
  
• Proven HR management experience within a school or educational institution is mandatory.
  
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
• Proficiency in English is required.
  
• Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM or an equivalent qualification would be an advantage.
