Job Overview
The HR Operations & Payroll Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations and manual payroll processing across Daman Investments and its associated entities.
The role ensures accurate and timely payroll execution, maintenance of HR records, and efficient handling of employee service requests. The incumbent will support day-to-day HR operations including leave management, employee documentation, and benefits administration, while ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law and internal policies.
The role will also support the future transition from manual payroll processes to system-based automation, contributing to process improvements, data structuring, and implementation readiness.
Key duties and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end manual payroll processing across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collect, validate, and maintain payroll inputs including attendance, leave records, variable pay, deductions, and reimbursements
- Process end of service benefits (EOSB) and ensure accurate tracking of contributions
- Administer pension contributions for UAE National employees in line with applicable regulations
- Maintain payroll records, reconciliations, and prepare payroll reports for management and finance
- Support the migration of payroll and HR operations from manual processes to automated systems, including data preparation, process documentation, testing, and implementation support
- Maintain and update HR master data and trackers (Excel-based systems) ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Manage employee lifecycle administration including onboarding and offboarding documentation
- Handle employee service requests including; salary certificates, salary transfer letters, No objection certificates (NOC's)
- Employment letters and other standard documentation
- Administer and track employee leave records (annual leave, sick leave, and other leave types) and ensure accurate reflection in payroll
- Process and monitor employee reimbursements and benefits including education allowance, school fees, transportation, and other applicable benefits
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll, HR policies, and benefits in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, internal policies, and audit requirements
- Coordinate with Finance and relevant stakeholders for payroll funding, reporting, and reconciliations
Position Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
Technical Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of UAE payroll practices and labour law
- Experience in manual payroll processing
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (payroll tracking, reconciliations, data management)
- Familiarity with HR systems and payroll processes

Work Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations and Payroll within the UAE
- Proven experience managing manual payroll
- Experience working across multiple entities is preferred
