Responsibilities
1. Visa & Immigration Operations
- Manage high-volume visa/work permit applications (new, renewals, dependents) for assigners, business travellers, and local hires, including tracking progress and resolving issues, maintain accurate records of all documentation and communications.
- Partner with vendors/government agencies to expedite processing in priority regions.
2. Compliance & Risk Management
- Monitor regulatory changes (e.g., updated work permit policies, Visa rules) and implement compliance protocols.
- Mitigate risks related to overstays, document expiry, or status violations, prepare reports for management review.
3. Employee Experience & Support
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding visa and immigration inquires, provide guidance and support throughout the relocation process, ensuring positive employee experiences.
- Develop FAQs, onboarding kits, and digital guides for common immigration scenarios.
4. Process Optimization & Technology
- Automate renewal reminders, document collection, and reporting dashboards.
- Digitize workflows using mobility platforms, propose efficiency improvements.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Advise HRBPs/Talent Acquisition on immigration requirements for hiring/transfers.
- Support tax, payroll, and relocation teams on compliance alignment.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, International Relations, or Law
2.4years+ in global immigration operations (in-house or consultancy)
3. Mastery of key regions's immigration frameworks and regulations, understanding various visa type distinctions
4. Fluent in English plus, mandarin preferred
5. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment
