The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting HR operations. This role will require strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management:
- Process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- HR Operations:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings and orientation.
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support performance management processes and employee relations initiatives.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Prepare and submit required payroll reports, tax filings, and labor statistics.
- Monitor changes in labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Employee Support:
- Provide guidance to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries.
- Facilitate training sessions on HR policies and procedures as needed.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement within payroll and HR operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficient HR practices.
