Job Description

We're Hiring: HR Specialist | Talent Acquisition Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time

Level: Mid-Level

We are seeking a proactive, people-oriented, and detail-focused HR Specialist | Talent Acquisition Specialist to support human resources operations while leading recruitment and talent-acquisition activities. This role will be responsible for attracting qualified candidates, managing recruitment processes, supporting employee lifecycle activities, and partnering with hiring managers to build a strong and effective workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities from job requisition and sourcing through selection, offer, and onboarding.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, job specifications, and hiring priorities.

• Develop effective sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates.

• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment databases, referrals, professional networks, and other channels.

• Review CVs, applications, and candidate profiles against job requirements and selection criteria.

• Conduct initial candidate screening, phone interviews, and competency-based assessments.

• Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and relevant stakeholders.

• Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates.

• Prepare interview schedules, candidate summaries, recruitment reports, and hiring recommendations.

• Manage offer processes, salary discussions, reference checks, and pre-employment requirements where applicable.

• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, documentation, orientation, and employee integration activities.

• Build and maintain qualified talent pipelines for current and future vacancies.

• Develop talent pools for critical, specialist, and hard-to-fill positions.

• Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activities within ATS and HR systems.

• Track recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill, time-to-hire, sourcing effectiveness, interview conversion, offer acceptance, and hiring quality.

• Prepare regular recruitment dashboards, reports, and hiring updates for HR leadership and management.

• Conduct market research on talent availability, recruitment trends, compensation levels, and competitor hiring activity.

• Support employer-branding initiatives and improve the organization's candidate experience.

• Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, professional associations, and external talent partners.

• Support career fairs, recruitment events, networking activities, and talent-attraction campaigns.

• Assist with employee records, HR documentation, HRIS updates, and personnel administration.

• Support employee lifecycle processes including transfers, promotions, confirmations, and departures.

• Assist with employee engagement, training, performance-management, and HR initiatives where required.

• Provide HR guidance and administrative support to employees and managers on routine HR matters.

• Ensure recruitment and HR activities comply with company policies, employment requirements, confidentiality standards, and applicable regulations.

• Handle sensitive employee and candidate information with professionalism and discretion.

• Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, HR workflows, candidate experience, and operational efficiency.

• Support HR projects, workforce-planning initiatives, and other people-related projects assigned by management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, HR Operations, or a related role.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment and talent-acquisition processes.

• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment databases, referrals, and professional networks.

• Strong candidate screening, interviewing, assessment, and selection skills.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilities.

• Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, employees, and external recruitment partners.

• Strong understanding of employment practices, HR policies, and employee lifecycle processes.

• Experience working with ATS, HRIS, CRM, recruitment platforms, and HR-management systems.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment priorities simultaneously.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate HR and recruitment records.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret recruitment metrics and HR data.

• Experience preparing recruitment dashboards, hiring reports, workforce reports, and HR analytics is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with HR and cross-functional teams.

• Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented approach to talent acquisition.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• High level of confidentiality, integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

• Experience with employer branding, recruitment marketing, talent mapping, or workforce planning is an advantage.

• Knowledge of competency-based interviewing and structured candidate assessment is preferred.

• Experience recruiting for corporate, technical, professional, or specialist positions is an advantage.

• Professional HR or recruitment certifications are an advantage.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred.
