About the Role
Elchai Group is looking for an organized and proactive HR & Talent Operations Intern to support recruitment, candidate assessment, onboarding, and the operation of the Elchai internal academy.
This is not only an administrative HR role. The intern will help manage a structured talent pipeline that covers job postings, applicant screening, assessment tasks, AI-assisted interviews, three-day trials, attendance, task tracking, and candidate evaluation.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working with structured processes, confidential information, recruitment tools, spreadsheets, and AI-assisted HR workflows.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will support the HR team with:
- Writing and publishing job descriptions on LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruitment platforms
- Reviewing CVs and screening applicants against role requirements
- Sending pre-interview assessments and tracking submissions
- Coordinating structured interviews supported by Elchai Pulse or other approved AI tools
- Informing candidates when an AI assistant will support an interview
- Maintaining standardized candidate scorecards
- Ensuring that final hiring decisions are reviewed and approved by a responsible human
- Coordinating three-day candidate trials
- Managing candidate onboarding, attendance, and required documentation
- Maintaining a recruitment tracker showing each candidate's stage, score, next action, and deadline
- Supporting the Elchai Academy and internal training programme
- Assigning and tracking academy tasks
- Organizing two short task-review sessions each day
- Keeping each task review focused and within the required time
- Identifying candidates or team members who are blocked, inactive, or unable to complete assigned tasks
- Escalating performance, attendance, or conduct concerns to the HR lead
- Preparing daily and weekly recruitment and academy reports
- Protecting candidate confidentiality and handling personal information carefully
- Supporting fair and consistent evaluation across all candidates
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be:
- Interested in HR, recruitment, talent assessment and people operations
- Highly organized and comfortable managing several candidates at different stages
- Able to communicate professionally with candidates
- Comfortable using AI tools for drafting, research, analysis and administrative support
- Able to follow fixed processes, scoring criteria and deadlines
- Confident using spreadsheets and candidate trackers
- Careful when handling confidential or personal information
- Proactive and able to identify problems without waiting for constant instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving AI-first company
- Available to work on-site in Dubai
Requirements
- Strong written and spoken English
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Basic understanding of recruitment, HR administration, or onboarding
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Indeed, or similar recruitment platforms is preferred
- Familiarity with Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Notion, or similar tools
- Comfortable using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or other AI tools
- Ability to prepare clear reports and maintain accurate records
- Good judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai from Monday to Friday
Nice to Have
- Previous HR, recruitment, administration or internship experience
- Experience coordinating interviews or communicating with candidates
- Experience creating candidate scorecards or recruitment trackers
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems or HR software
- Experience using AI tools for recruitment or administrative workflows
- Basic understanding of data privacy, confidentiality and fair hiring practices
