Our client is seeking an experienced HRIS Regional Project Manager to lead the regional execution of a global SAP SuccessFactors implementation across Asia Pacific, India, the Middle East, and Australia (APAC & IMEA). This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a large-scale HR transformation programme, partnering with global and regional stakeholders to successfully deliver a strategic enterprise-wide initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Project Delivery
- Lead the regional execution of a global SAP SuccessFactors implementation across APAC & IMEA.
- Develop and manage regional project plans aligned with global programme milestones and implementation schedules.
- Coordinate regional readiness activities, deployment planning, cutover preparation, and country-specific deliverables.
- Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and action plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive adoption of global project governance, methodologies, templates, and reporting standards across regional entities.
- Monitor implementation progress and provide regular project updates to regional and global leadership.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary regional point of contact for HR, IT, Finance, implementation partners, and external vendors.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, workshops, and project governance sessions.
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and maintain project momentum.
- Support organisational change management by contributing to regional communications, training, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Escalate critical risks with clear impact assessments and practical mitigation recommendations.
- Monitor regional change requests and ensure alignment with global programme objectives, scope, and budget.
- Partner with Global HR Operations to manage regional regulatory, operational, compliance, and data privacy considerations.
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare regional teams for project governance reviews, phase gate approvals, and executive reporting.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, risk registers, issue logs, and decision trackers.
- Develop status reports, dashboards, presentations, and updates for regional leadership and global programme governance
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 8 years experience managing regional or multi-country projects within complex, matrixed organisations.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise HRIS implementations, including SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, UKG, or similar cloud-based HR platforms.
- Strong project management expertise across Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in project planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and programme execution.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across diverse cultures and geographies.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation programmes with a strong focus on execution and delivery.
- SAP SuccessFactors implementation experience will be highly regarded.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is advantageous.
