EgyBell is hiring an HSE & Safety Manager for a specialized engineering and contracting company.
Overview:
Lead and manage all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities across mobile network operations, main switching sites, and fleet management operations. The role is responsible for developing HSE strategies, ensuring ISO compliance, managing risk, and creating safe work environments for telecom infrastructure and field operations.
The successful candidate will establish project HSE plans, implement safety management systems, and ensure full compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain company HSE policies and procedures.
Create and implement Project HSE Plans for telecom and infrastructure projects.
Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation planning.
Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and local regulations.
Develop method statements, job safety analysis (JSA), and permit-to-work procedures.
Manage safety operations for mobile network sites, main switch facilities, power rooms, and technical infrastructure.
Monitor safety performance, incident reporting, and corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Develop emergency response and crisis management procedures.
Manage contractor and vendor safety compliance.
Lead internal and external HSE audits.
Implement fleet safety management and driver safety programs.
Deliver safety training and awareness programs.
Ensure safe execution of field activities, maintenance, and operations work.
Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and compliance records.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical).
Minimum 5 years experience in HSE or Safety Management.
Experience in telecommunications, mobile networks, switch sites, or infrastructure operations.
Strong experience in risk management and safety management systems.
Experience implementing ISO standards and compliance frameworks.
Strong knowledge of telecom site risks (power systems, batteries, RF exposure, working at height, electrical safety).
Experience managing field teams, contractors, and fleet operations.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
ISO 45001 Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor
OSHA Certification
Risk Management Certification
