Job Description

Position: HSE & Fire Manager

Job Location: Baitha, KSA

We are seeking an experienced HSE & Fire Manager to lead and manage site-wide Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability (EHSS) and Fire functions within a large industrial operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving safety performance, regulatory compliance, contractor management, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the site EHSS and Fire function, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company requirements.
  • Develop and implement EHSS strategies, annual plans, performance targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage contractor HSE performance through audits, inspections, onboarding requirements, and corrective action programs.
  • Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure effective closure of corrective actions.
  • Oversee risk assessments, critical control verification, and safety assurance activities for high-risk operations.
  • Ensure readiness of fire protection systems, emergency response plans, and emergency drills.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and support audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the EHSS & Fire team while fostering a strong safety culture across the site.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Fire Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline. Master's degree is an advantage.
  • 10-15 years of EHSS experience within industrial environments, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • NEBOSH Diploma preferred (minimum NEBOSH IGC or equivalent).
  • Fire safety qualifications and ISO 45001 auditing experience are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in emergency management, contractor governance, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in mining, mineral processing, oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, heavy industry, or large construction projects will be highly regarded.
