Are you an experienced HSE Inspector looking to kickstart your career in a global engineering firm At ILF Consulting Engineers UAE, we're looking for someone like you to be a part of transformative water projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies aligned with local laws and industry standards
- Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and apply control measures
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Perform regular safety inspections and audits to verify effectiveness of safety measures
- Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive actions
- Deliver safety training on equipment usage, emergency procedures, and safe practices
- Develop and manage emergency response plans for potential hazards
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, audits, assessments, and training
- Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness and employee engagement
- Report HSE performance, incidents, and improvements to management
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience managing HSE projects and multiple safety concerns
- Commitment to continuous improvement in safety performance
- Effective communication of safety procedures and policies
- Capability to train staff and collaborate across teams
- Leadership in fostering a safety-first workplace culture
- Prior HSE experience in UAE, or Gulf region
- Familiarity with on-site operational environments
- Prior experience with TRANSCO/TAQA transmission is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Fluent in written and verbal English.
