We are looking for an HSE Lead to lead the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies on site, ensuring full compliance and a safe, responsible working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the HSE Management System across the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations, standards, and company requirements.
- Identify, assess, and control operational, machinery, chemical, and process-related risks.
- Lead Risk Assessments, and ensure effective implementation of control measures.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor HSE KPIs, performance indicators, and trends, and prepare reports for management.
- Develop and maintain Emergency Response and Preparedness Plans and conduct emergency drills.
- Ensure effective implementation of Permit to Work systems for high-risk activities.
- Oversee machine safety, guarding, and equipment safety requirements.
- Deliver HSE induction, training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
- Drive Safety Culture and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the facility.
- Provide HSE leadership and guidance to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments.
Qualifications
- Bachler's Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Professional HSE certifications
- 7–10 years of experience in HSE, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
