About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and international HSE standards while fostering a strong safety culture across all operations.
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with extensive experience in occupational health and safety, risk management, regulatory compliance, and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, environmental regulations, and international HSE standards.
- Conduct workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments across all operational sites.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop emergency response plans and coordinate emergency preparedness drills.
- Deliver HSE training programs and promote employee awareness of health and safety best practices.
- Monitor HSE performance through KPIs, inspections, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and HR teams to integrate HSE requirements into daily activities.
- Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with company HSE policies and project safety requirements.
- Maintain HSE documentation, permits, incident records, and regulatory reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve workplace safety, environmental performance, and operational compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement in health and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental management.
- At least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and occupational health and safety management systems.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, industrial, or infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
