Job Title: HSE Group Manager

Job Purpose:

Lead, develop, and oversee the Group's Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards. Drive a strong safety culture across all business units to minimize risks, improve environmental performance, and ensure the well-being of all employees and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the Group's HSE strategy, policies, and objectives.
• Align HSE programs with corporate goals and operational requirements.
• Establish annual HSE improvement plans and monitor performance KPIs.

2. Compliance & Governance

• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian labor laws, environmental regulations, and international HSE standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across all sites.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to top management and regulatory authorities.

3. Risk & Incident Management

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential hazards in operations.
• Lead investigations of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Implement corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

4. Training & Awareness

• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through awareness campaigns and engagement activities.

5. Environmental Stewardship

• Monitor and improve environmental performance, including waste management, energy efficiency, and pollution control.
• Support sustainability initiatives and environmental reporting.

6. Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the HSE team across all business units.
• Foster collaboration between HSE, operations, and other departments.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (master's degree preferred).

Minimum 1012 years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role at the group or corporate level.

Strong knowledge of Egyptian HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OSHA).

Proven experience in multi-site manufacturing or industrial environments.

HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is mandatory.
