Job Description

Position: HSE Officer

Location : Abu Dhabi

Salary : 8000-10000 AED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 14001:2015 internal audit and preparation for surveillance audit, and certification audit as per audit plan
  • Accountable for implementation of Lead Auditor QMS ISO 9001: 2015, OHS 45001: 2018 & EMS 14001:2015.
  • Conducting QHSE induction and training for workers or existing workers upon request from the client
  • Circulate health sector updates regarding occupational diseases and new diseases.
  • Develop HSE Plans and interface documents for Oil and Gas projects.
  • Prepare HSE tender documents as per client requirements.
  • Conduct fire evacuation drills in offices and residential camps
  • Inspect firefighting equipment at Head Office.
  • Conduct periodic emergency drills as per Civil Defense and facility management requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas projects
  • Knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE management software
  • NEBOSH certification required
