Job Title: HSE Officer

Reporting To: HSE Manager / Project Manager
Position Summary
The HSE Officer will be responsible for monitoring and implementing the Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures at the Aswan Project site. The role ensures compliance with local regulations, company standards, and client (PMC) requirements to maintain a safe working environment across all project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the project HSE Plan in line with company and client requirements.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure all work activities are carried out in compliance with statutory and contractual HSE obligations.
- Prepare and maintain risk assessments, method statements, and job safety analyses.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety induction programs, and HSE awareness sessions for all site personnel.
- Monitor and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and near-misses; ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
- Lead and participate in incident/accident investigations and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis.
- Maintain proper documentation of all HSE-related activities, inspections, and reports as per PMC and client requirements.
- Support the implementation of Emergency Response Plans and participate in mock drills.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their compliance with HSE standards and contractual obligations.
- Promote a proactive safety culture within the workforce and encourage continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Environmental Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial Projects.
- Experience in PMC (Project Management Consultancy) projects is highly preferred.
- Valid NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH or equivalent HSE certification.
- Good knowledge of Egyptian HSE laws and international safety standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Strong communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with incident reporting tools.

Working Conditions
- Work 6 days a week, 10 hrs a day Friday is off
