A leading FMCG company is seeking to hire an HSE officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to protect employees, contractors, the public, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Review plans and specifications for machinery and equipment to ensure that they conform to safety requirements
- Identify and correct potential risks through inspection of facilities, machinery and safety equipment
- Assess the effectiveness of different control measures
- Ensure that the building and facilities comply with occupational health and safety regulations
- Installing or guiding the installation of safety devices on machines
- Review staff safety programs and recommend updating those programs
- Investigate accidents, injuries or occupational diseases to determine their causes and determine how to prevent and avoid such accidents
- Follow-up fire systems and follow-up periodic maintenance of those systems
- Preparation and submission of reports related to the Department of Safety and Occupational Health
Requirements
- Holds a bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Not less than two years of experience as a safety and professional health officer and prefers experience with fire and fire fighting systems
- Certified training certificates
- Previous work experience certificates is preferred
