HSE Officer - Sites

Responsibility

Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, risk assessments, JSAs, and method statements.
Monitor PPE compliance and safe execution of high-risk activities.
Check work permits for activities such as hot work, working at height, excavation, lifting, and confined spaces.
Conduct toolbox talks and HSE inductions.
Report and assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure of HSE observations.
Maintain daily HSE reports, inspection checklists, and safety records.
Participate in emergency drills and site safety audits.
Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors to resolve safety issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or relevant field.
1–2 years of HSE experience, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
HSE certification such as OSHA, IOSH.
Good knowledge of risk assessment, PPE, work permits, and incident investigation.
Good communication and reporting skills.
