HSE Officer – Abu Dhabi
Location: Abu Dhabi (Offshore visits as required)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Chemical), HSE, or equivalent.
- Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) mandatory.
- UAE/Middle East experience preferred.
Experience:
- 7–8 years of total experience with at least 5 years as an HSE Officer in the Oil & Gas industry.
- ADNOC project/site experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and maintenance of HSE/HSSE Management Systems in compliance with ADNOC standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct HSE inspections, audits, risk assessments, and site safety monitoring activities.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely reporting and corrective actions.
- Monitor contractor compliance with HSE requirements and company procedures.
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Assist in developing HSE policies, procedures, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, and ADNOC stakeholders on HSE matters.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of HSEMS, ADNOC HSE standards, and Oil & Gas safety practices.
- Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to promote a positive safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
