HSE / Process Safety Engineer

Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering with more than 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.

Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems for assigned projects or facilities.

Conduct risk assessments, including HAZOPs, JHA, and LOPA studies, to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Review engineering designs and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.

Stay up to date on industry best practices and regulatory changes in the UAE.

Provide technical advice and guidance to other HSE professionals and line managers.

Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and investigations to identify and address non-conformities.

Excellent understanding of Process Safety.

Good understanding of Environmental Safety & Occupational Safety.

Extensive exposure to project workshops such as HAZOP, PHA, Bowtie, IVB, QRA, Drop Object analysis, risk rating, and analysis.

Responsible for the design and review of piping design deliverable documents.

Well-versed in stress analysis and piping support design.

Knowledgeable about piping modifications in brownfield projects.

Possesses techno-commercial expertise in piping material of construction (MOC).

Excellent risk assessment and auditing skills

Proficiency in HSE software applications
