Job Description

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support the organization's business objectives. This role oversees all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits, and compliance with existing labor laws.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Management

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Advise senior management on HR-related matters and workforce planning.
  • Drive organizational development and change management initiatives.

Recruitment & Talent Management

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Develop talent retention and succession planning strategies.
  • Ensure recruitment practices support diversity and equal opportunity.

Employee Relations

  • Manage employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive work environment and strong organizational culture.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures.

Performance Management

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in setting KPIs, conducting reviews, and managing underperformance.
  • Promote continuous feedback and employee development.

Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and develop annual training plans.
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Support leadership and career development initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage salary structures, benefits, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and ensure market competitiveness.
  • Oversee payroll coordination in collaboration with Finance.

HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, review, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations (e.g., UAE Labour Law, where applicable).
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

HR Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee HR systems, records, and reporting.
  • Prepare HR metrics and reports for management review.
  • Manage HR budgets and optimize HR operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum [58] years of progressive HR experience, with at least [23] years in a specialist role.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is an advantage.
