Job Description

Job Title: HR Assistant

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: HR Manager / HR Lead

Job Summary

The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department in daily administrative and operational tasks. This role helps ensure smooth HR processes including recruitment, employee records management, onboarding, and employee engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment (posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews)
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Prepare HR documents (offer letters, contracts, confirmation letters, etc.)
  • Coordinate employee attendance, leave records, and basic payroll inputs
  • Handle employee queries related to HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in organizing training programs and HR events
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and labor laws
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Time management and multitasking abilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 02 years of experience in an HR or administrative role (freshers may apply)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HRMS or payroll systems
  • Internship or prior exposure to HR operations
