Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in all areas related to the human resources field. They should be comfortable onboarding new candidates and collecting necessary background information as well as assisting employees while at work. This candidate should work closely with management in order to provide training for employees and establish ways to increase employee engagement.

Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Consulting

  • Partnering with business leadership to identify and solve significant people and cultural issues, acting as a trusted advisor for HR-related decision-making.
  • HR consulting and coaching business leaders on key HR issues such as performance management, employee relations, organizational design, and succession planning.
  • Driving talent management initiatives, ensuring the identification, development, and retention of key talents in the assigned division.

Change Management & Organizational Development

  • Supporting organizational changes, including restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, and workforce planning, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
  • Facilitating change management programs, coaching leaders through organizational changes, and supporting employee engagement during periods of transformation.

HR Operations & Process Management

  • Managing HR processes, including promotions, role changes, and salary adjustments, ensuring compliance with the company's internal systems
  • Position management and workforce planning, ensuring that the assigned division's structure aligns with its strategic objectives, and managing position allocations.
  • Overseeing employee relations, including handling grievances, disputes, and compliance with labor laws, to minimize potential legal risks.

HR Program Implementation

  • Leading the rollout of HR programs, such as performance appraisals, rewards programs, and employee recognition initiatives, ensuring alignment with assigned business goals.
  • Partnering with the Talent Management team to support leadership development, succession planning, and talent review processes for the assigned division.

Employee Engagement & Retention

  • Driving retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee engagement, ensuring that key talent is retained and developed within the organization.
  • Conducting regular employee feedback sessions to understand concerns and implement solutions to improve employee satisfaction.

Job Description Management

  • Ensure that all job descriptions are meticulously crafted and organized in alignment with the guidelines provided by the Rewards team, maintaining clarity, consistency, and compliance across all roles.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in HR business partnering and possess a solid understanding of the business environment, including:

  1. HR Strategy & Consulting: Proven ability to align HR strategies with business objectives, particularly within a division, and serve as an advisor to business leaders.
  2. Employee Relations & Labor Law: In-depth knowledge of labor law and employee relations, with the ability to resolve complex employee issues and disputes.
  3. Change Management: Expertise in managing organizational changes, including restructuring, workforce planning, and mergers/acquisitions.
  4. HRIS Systems: Proficiency in using HR systems for approvals, promotions, and employee management.
  5. Talent Management & Succession Planning: Experience in managing talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is advantageous.

Experience: 8+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on HR business partnering, employee relations, and talent management, particularly within the given sector. Experience in managing organizational changes, talent acquisition, and HR operations.

Additional Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with business leaders and employees.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR management systems for reporting and data analysis.
