Job Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator supports the HR Director in all aspects of HR management. This role ensures the smooth operation of HR functions. The HR Coordinator will assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist the HR Director in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks. Manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless integration of new hires.
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and issues. Provide support in resolving employee concerns and creating a positive work environment.
Performance Management: Assist the HR Director in coordinating performance review processes, including setting up meetings, collecting and compiling feedback, and maintaining performance records.
Training and Development: Help organize and facilitate training sessions. Support the HR Director in identifying training needs and sourcing appropriate training programs.
HR Administration: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. Handle HR-related documentation such as employment contracts, confidentiality agreements, and amendments.
Compliance: Ensure that all HR activities comply with company policies and local labor laws. Assist the HR Director in monitoring compliance and updating policies as needed.
Payroll and Benefits Administration: Support the payroll process by ensuring timely and accurate submission of payroll information. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and communication with employees.
Event Coordination: Help plan and execute employee engagement activities and events, fostering a sense of community and teamwork within the clinic.
Reporting: Prepare regular HR reports and metrics for the HR Director and senior management. Assist in analyzing HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, Holding professional certification ( CIPD or SHRM ) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably within the luxury hospitality or healthcare industry.
Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Knowledge: Familiarity with HR software and systems, as well as a good understanding of labor laws and regulations.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees at all levels. Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Relationship with the HR Director:
Support and Collaboration: Work closely with the HR Director to ensure all HR processes are aligned with the clinic's goals and standards. Provide administrative support and assist with strategic HR initiatives.
Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the HR Director, ensuring timely updates on HR activities and issues. Facilitate communication between the HR Director and other departments as needed.
Strategic Input: Provide insights and suggestions to the HR Director on improving HR practices and enhancing employee experience. Participate in HR planning meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
Confidentiality and Trust: Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and foster a trusting relationship with the HR Director
