Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist located in Cairo. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for managing daily HR operations, developing and implementing HR policies, overseeing employee benefit programs, administering benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The role also involves supporting recruitment, onboarding, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in Fashion Retail or Garment Manufacturing
- Strong experience in store recruitment (Sales staff, Store Managers) and handling high-volume hiring
- Knowledge of retail HR operations including attendance, shifts, and staff scheduling
- Familiarity with labor laws and compliance, especially related to retail and factory environments
- Experience in handling employee relations and resolving workplace issues in stores or factories
- Understanding of payroll basics, attendance systems, and overtime calculations
- Ability to support performance management and staff evaluations across branches
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with store teams and management
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple branches and priorities
- Proficiency in HR systems, Excel, and reporting tools
- Previous experience in fashion brands or retail chains is highly preferred
- Experience working with multi-branch operations
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs and team productivity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
