Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead and develop the human resources function of our fast-paced advertising agency. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of the advertising industry's unique talent landscape and culture, paired with robust HR expertise that drives both people performance and business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for all roles — from briefing and sourcing to interviews and offer management — with a focus on attracting top creative, digital, and strategic advertising professionals.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through industry networks, social platforms, universities, and advertising community events.
  • Develop compelling employer branding initiatives that position the agency as an employer of choice in the Egyptian advertising market.

Contracts, Onboarding & HR Administration

  • Manage the full contractual lifecycle for all employees including drafting, reviewing, renewing, and terminating employment agreements in line with Egyptian Labour Law.
  • Oversee seamless onboarding experiences that integrate new hires into the agency culture quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain and continuously improve accurate HR records, personnel files, and HR information systems (HRIS).

Training, Learning & Development

  • Design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive Learning & Development strategy aligned with agency growth objectives and individual career paths.
  • Identify skill gaps and training needs across teams through performance reviews, assessments, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Partner with external training providers, advertising institutes, and industry bodies to deliver relevant and high-impact learning programmes.
  • Champion continuous learning as a pillar of the agency's culture.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support

  • Manage and review employee remuneration packages, ensuring market competitiveness and internal equity within the advertising industry benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with Finance on payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
  • Evaluate and administer employee benefits programmes including health insurance, incentives, and other perks.

Policy Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Ensure full compliance with Egyptian Labour Law, Social Insurance regulations, and all applicable legal requirements.
  • Develop, update, and enforce internal HR policies, the employee handbook, and standard operating procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, managing grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution with fairness and sensitivity.
  • Provide guidance to managers on people management best practices and legal obligations.

Culture, Engagement & Employer Branding

  • Partner with senior management to define, articulate, and actively shape the agency's culture, values, and mission.
  • Design and execute employee engagement programmes, team-building initiatives, and recognition schemes that foster loyalty, collaboration, and creative energy.
  • Monitor and assess organisational culture through surveys, feedback channels, and regular pulse checks — translating insights into actionable improvement plans.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives to ensure a welcoming and equitable workplace for all talent.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a closely related field from an accredited university — required.
  • Professional HR certification from a reputable institute (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHRi, CIPD, or equivalent) — highly valuable and strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR management experience, specifically within an advertising, creative, or media agency environment — mandatory.
  • Demonstrable experience across the full HR spectrum: recruitment, contracts, L&D, compensation, compliance, and culture.
  • Proven track record of managing HR in a dynamic, fast-paced, and creative organisational setting.
  • Strong familiarity with the Egyptian advertising talent market and the unique demands of attracting and retaining creative professionals.

Skills & Competencies

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Egyptian Labour Law, Social Insurance, and employment regulations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills — able to influence at all levels.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate people data and metrics into strategic decisions.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in Arabic and English — both written and spoken — is essential.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A senior leadership role at the heart of a growing, creative advertising agency.
  • Competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience and market standards.
  • A vibrant, collaborative, and creative work environment in Maadi, Cairo.
  • Real opportunity to shape the people strategy and culture of the organisation.
  • Continuous professional development and access to industry events and networks.
