POSITION: HR MANAGER – ABU DHABI
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and energetic HR Manager to lead our human resources operations in Abu Dhabi. This is a hands-on, operational leadership role responsible for managing the full HR lifecycle for a high-volume workforce including delivery riders, drivers, and white-collar employees. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and bring extensive experience in UAE labor law compliance, workforce optimization and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities.
HR Department Leadership & Supervision.
- Supervise and control all HR activities at the Company
- Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance of HR team members
- Ensure HR team compliance with policies, timelines, and quality standards.
- Act as the final internal checkpoint before HR matters escalate to management
Workforce HR Operations
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations for bike riders, car drivers, and white-collar employees
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and employee records
- Coordinate medical insurance, leave management, and workforce status
- Handle disciplinary actions, investigations, and employee relations
- Ensure zero operational disruption due to HR delays
Compliance, Legal & MOHRE Oversight
- Ensure full compliance with UAE Labor Law, MOHRE regulations, and WPS governance
- Lead and manage MOHRE inspections, audits, and investigations
- Oversee medical insurance requirements and visa processes
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:
- Payroll coordination (OT, deductions, incentives)
- Performance KPI tracking (AR, CR, punctuality, productivity)
- Incident and disciplinary case handling
- Accommodation & transportation coordination.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
- HRMS and attendance systems knowledge
- UAE labor law compliance
Core Competencies:
- Leadership & Supervision – ability to lead HR coordinators and rider captains
- Ability to enforce discipline while maintaining morale
- Quick decision-making during operational peaks
- Analytical thinking for workforce optimization
- Process-driven mindset with high attention to detail
- Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving ability
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of UAE experience managing delivery riders OR 500+ blue-collar employees.
- Extensive experience in logistics, delivery services, transportation, FMCG, manpower outsourcing, or high-volume workforce environments.
Non-Negotiable:
- Energetic and proactive attitude.
- Ability to adapt to a startup environment.
- Strong command of English (Arabic is preferred but not Mandatory)
