What Will Your Day Look Like
The HR Officer will work closely with the HR Supervisor, Human Capital & Administration Manager, and other HR team members to ensure the effective delivery of HR services across the organization.
The role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and training and development activities. The HR Officer will help ensure smooth HR processes, timely support to employees, and adherence to company policies and procedures while contributing to a positive employee experience.
How Will You Make an Impact
Attendance Management
- Track employee attendance, absences, and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Support employees in managing leave requests while ensuring compliance with company leave policies.
- Identify attendance trends such as absenteeism and work with employees and managers to address issues.
- Ensure adherence to attendance policies and take corrective action where required.
- Collect and analyze attendance data and prepare management reports on attendance trends.
- Ensure compliance with attendance tracking processes, data accuracy, and timely escalation of unexcused absences to HR and Finance.
Recruitment
- Source, attract, and interview candidates to support hiring needs.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new employees for smooth integration.
- Ensure completion of all administrative documentation and joining formalities.
- Track key recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill and onboarding timelines.
Employee Relations
- Address employee concerns and provide HR support for workplace issues.
- Mediate disputes and manage employee grievance processes.
- Communicate HR policies clearly to employees and managers to ensure proper implementation.
- Ensure timely resolution of employee grievances and monitor employee feedback.
Training & Development
- Develop and implement training programs to support employee growth and development.
- Update and revise training content based on evolving business needs.
- Support training delivery by coordinating participants, materials, and logistics.
- Analyze training needs and track training effectiveness and duration.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare monthly HR reports covering attendance, turnover, retention, and other key metrics.
- Develop HR documentation including forms, procedures, and reports for record-keeping and communication.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and equal opportunity standards.
- Maintain accuracy and timeliness of HR reporting and compliance requirements.
Special Projects
- Lead and execute HR or management-assigned special projects within defined timelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of project objectives aligned with business needs.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or other relevant HR certifications (preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within FMCG or other fast-paced, customer-focused industries.
- Talent management and employee lifecycle processes.
- Compensation and benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of Kuwait labor laws and HR compliance.
- Recruitment and workforce planning.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
