ABOUT Kijamii:

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for an HR Specialist who will support various operational functions by managing day-to-day HR activities such as benefits, leaves, and separation administration. The ideal candidate will assist in establishing and implementing employment and termination procedures in line with company policies and guidelines, while ensuring employment records remain accurate and up to date and issuing related reports. The role requires a highly organized professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple hiring priorities simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Manage the full appointment process, including onboarding and orientation sessions in line with company policies and culture.
  • Oversee annual leave tracking and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Process monthly payroll accurately and in accordance with company policies and Egyptian labor regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical insurance plans.
  • Issue official HR letters as requested (e.g., employment certificates, salary letters, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate filing, documentation, and archiving of employee records according to employment status.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and updates in alignment with the company culture.
  • Implement compensation-related changes (promotions, transfers, merit increases, salary adjustments) in collaboration with the Director of People & Culture to ensure internal equity and consistency.
  • Update and maintain payroll sheets with all employment-related changes (hiring, renewals, salary updates, transfers, deductions, etc.).
  • Provide ongoing communication and counseling to employees and dependents regarding benefits programs.
  • Act as liaison with medical insurance providers and resolve employee concerns effectively.
  • Generate monthly HR reports and provide analysis as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law and related regulations.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by management.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

2-4 years of HR Operations experience, preferably in related field/industry

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in monthly payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance and Egyptian labor law.
  • Knowledge of Egyptian law penalties practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective employee relationships.
  • Experience in developing HR policies and procedures is a plus.
