Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, supporting HR operations for a dynamic heavy transportation environment. This role involves administering HR policies and procedures, maintaining employee records, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. The specialist will coordinate employee benefits, assist with performance management activities, and help ensure compliance with labor laws and internal HR standards. Daily responsibilities include responding to employee inquiries, supporting personnel management for operational and field teams, and collaborating with managers to address HR-related issues. The role also contributes to HR reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement of HR practices aligned with company safety and HSE culture.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of HR Policies and compliance with labor regulations.
- Candidates should possess experience in Employee Benefits administration and related documentation.
- Candidates should possess solid Personnel Management skills, including employee relations support.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, industrial, or energy sectors is beneficial.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS or HR-related software and MS Office tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and handle confidential information with discretion.
