Job Description

The HVAC Presales Engineer (Chiller Specialist) is responsible for providing technical expertise, solution design, and presales support for chiller systems across commercial, industrial, and largescale HVAC projects. This role bridges engineering knowledge with customer engagement, ensuring that proposed solutions meet performance requirements, budget constraints, and project specifications. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of chiller technologies with excellent communication and clientfacing skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to design optimal chiller solutions.
  • Prepare technical proposals, equipment selections, and system configurations.
  • Support the sales team with technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
  • Conduct load calculations, system sizing, and performance simulations.
  • Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to clarify technical requirements and propose valueengineered solutions.
  • Provide technical training and product knowledge sessions to customers and internal teams.
  • Address technical queries and ensure alignment between customer needs and proposed solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical and commercial offers for chiller systems.
  • Review tender documents and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and technical data.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of chiller technologies (aircooled, watercooled, absorption, magnetic bearing, etc.)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, energy efficiency standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience. (Preferably in Chilled Water Systems).
  • Strong background in chiller systems and largescale HVAC solutions.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design tools and software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and external stakeholders.
  • Customeroriented mindset with strong negotiation awareness.
