Role Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Piping Stress Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time hybrid role for an HVAC Stress Engineer based in Dubai, with partial flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilites
- Perform piping stress analysis for HVAC piping systems (Chilled Water, Water Supply, and Fire Protection) using CAESAR II.
- Evaluate pipe stresses to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.1, B31.3).
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize piping layouts, supports, and materials.
- Design pipe supports and restraints to ensure structural integrity and minimize stress in piping systems.
- Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and technical documentation for client review and approval.
- Interface with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Attend occasional on-site inspections, meetings, or troubleshooting as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in piping stress analysis.
- Proficiency with CAESAR II, and AutoCAD software is essential.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API).
- Experience in pipe support design and layout optimization.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, seismic analysis, and surge phenomena is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
