Job Description
Hyde Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient HVAC Technician to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, analytical problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in Dubai's demanding climate conditions.
- Install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge
- Perform preventive maintenance on cooling and heating systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Repair or replace defective components such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and ductwork
- Charge and recover refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations and local environmental standards
- Test HVAC systems for proper operation, airflow, and temperature control
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system issues, repair recommendations, and maintenance schedules
- Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes applicable in the UAE
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions
Qualifications
- Valid EPA certification for handling and recovery of refrigerants
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
- Proficiency with HVAC diagnostic tools including multimeters, pressure gauges, vacuum pumps, and manifold gauges
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and technical standards (preferred)
- Proficiency in English for customer communication and documentation
